Data processing when visiting our websites
Access data
When you visit our website, personal data is processed to display the website content on your device. In order for the pages to be displayed in your browser, among other things, the IP address of your device must be processed. In addition, further information about your device’s browser is collected.
We are legally obliged to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of personal data processed by our IT systems.
For this purpose, and based on our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website, the following data are processed:
- IP address of the requesting device (retained for a maximum of 7 days)
- Operating system of the requesting device
- Browser version of the requesting device
- Name of the file requested
- Date and time of the request
- Amount of data transferred
- Referrer URL
Your IP address will be deleted after a maximum of 7 days. All other data mentioned will only be stored as long as necessary to provide a secure and functioning website. After this period, it will no longer be possible to identify individuals from the data. The data is also used to detect and fix errors on the website.
Data processing when using the contact form
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we store the information you provide in the form, including the contact details you have given, in order to process your enquiry and to respond to any follow-up questions.
Data processing during registration and prize draw participation
Additionally, we store the data you provide when registering (first and last name, address, email address), as well as any information you provide with the prize declaration (telephone number, address, bank details).
We also store the data from your uploaded proof of purchase (purchase date, products purchased, amount spent, store location). The purpose of storing this data is to carry out the prize draw, i.e. to verify eligibility, select winners, and if necessary, send prizes. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
The data you enter in the registration form, prize declaration, and when uploading the proof of purchase will be stored by us until you request deletion or the purpose for storage ceases to apply (3 months after the end of the promotion). Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device via your browser. These cookies are necessary to enable certain functions of our website.
We only use session cookies, which are automatically deleted as soon as you leave the website. These cookies are required in accordance with Section 25(2) of the German Telemedia Act (TDDSG) for the operation of the promotion (login and upload of proof of purchase). Deletion of data
Your personal data will be deleted three months after the conclusion of the prize draw, unless they are required for evidentiary purposes due to asserted or threatened claims, or legal obligations require longer retention. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
